Biography:
Al, president and founder of Gemma Law Associates, Inc., has been practicing law in the State of Rhode Island for over 45 years. During that time, he has gained vast legal experience, trying both Superior and District Court cases before juries and judges, appearing before the United States District Court District of Rhode Island, and arguing before the Rhode Island Supreme Court. His law practice focuses on personal injury, including but not limited to: auto accidents, slip and falls, medical malpractice, products liability and workers' compensation.

Al received his undergraduate degree from Brown University and his law degree from the University of Chicago, where he was a member of the Law Review. During his legal career, he has served as a Probate Judge, Town Solicitor, member of the United States Civil Rights Commission, and member of the Personnel Appeal Board.

Al serves as a delegate to the Democratic State Committee, as well as the Democratic Representative Committee. He is also a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association and is on the Board of Governors for the Rhode Island Trial Lawyers Association.
